General Manager - Sue Williams
Gidleigh Park is one of the country’s few leading hotels with a female General Manager. Sue Williams was formerly operations director at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons.
Executive Head Chef - Michael Caines MBE
Michael Caines MBE is considered one of the most brilliant chefs in the United Kingdom.
Hotel Manager - Andrew Foulkes
Andrew began working for Andrew and Christina Brownsword at Gidleigh Park in November 2011, joining as the new Hotel Manager.
Restaurant Manager – Damien Bastiat
Born in south west France in 1980, Damien always wanted to work in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Head Sommelier - Edouard Oger M.S.
Edouard Oger M.S. has been Head Sommelier at Gidleigh Park since September 2008 and is responsible for an impressive 1,200 bins (11,000 bottles) of fine wines which cover a broad range of both Old and New World.
Operations Manager - Scott Andrews
Exeter born and bred Scott has now been at Gidleigh Park since Andrew and Christina Brownsword reopened the hotel in 2006.
Estate Manager - Andrew Brimblecombe
Andrew began working at Gidleigh Park in 1995 as one of the Gardening Team and in 2001 was promoted to Head Gardener.
