Seasonally, the River Teign is packed with wild brown trout, sea trout and salmon, offering some of the finest fishing in the South West.

At Gidleigh Park we can provide fishing licenses and tuition for those who are keen novices, and tackle and gear can be booked by prior arrangement.

For the experienced fishermen we can point in the direction of the most perfect spots along the river. A choice of river or reservoir fishing is available set against some stunning scenery, from the boulder-strewn water near Castle Drogo to peaceful meadow streams around Chagford.

Everyone is sent out with a Ghillie who will guide you to the best waters on the day ensuring a good catch.
