Our Wine Cellar

As a fitting tribute to our fine cuisine Gidleigh Park offers one of the most acclaimed wine lists available in Britain, housing around 1100 bins.

A new wine cellar was created within the building project of 2006 and now around 10,000 bottles are expertly stored in optimum conditions. 

By prior arrangement we would be delighted to arrange a personal visit to the wine cellar.

The wine list is exceptionally extensive and we are particularly proud of the selections from classic regions of France and elsewhere in Europe and the New World alongside our increasing selection of Bio Dynamic wines.

We have stocks of mature wines that are in perfect condition for drinking now and we are also laying down vintages for future enjoyment.

Sommelier Edouard Oger M.S. is very passionate and knowledgeable about wine and will happily discuss your requirements.

The accolades are based on feedback from over 8,000 independent diners from across the UK and this is the second year running that Gidleigh has taken the top spot.
