Games & Yoga
Play tennis, croquet and have a go at putting in the gardens at Gidleigh. Find our yoga mats and introduce the family to the ‘downward dog’ and the ‘cobra’ in a tranquil spot in our gardens. Our printed 'Yoga Bear' guide gives a helping hand, available from reception.

The Pavilion is a self-contained thatch cottage within the grounds that includes its own kitchen/diner, private veranda and two bedrooms that can be set up as twins on request.Extra room

We have two dog-friendly rooms; Lydford (a Deluxe Garden View Room), Bellever (a Master Room) as well as The Pavilion. After all, they're part of the family too.

Miniature Pony Centre
Sitting on the edge of wild and magical Dartmoor in Devon is a hidden gem of all things small, cute and cuddly. A real hands-on experience with miniature ponies and tiny foals, giant donkeys and podgy pigs

Paignton Zoo
With over 2,000 animals, 6 animal habitats, a Jungle Express train, indoor play areas, good food, easy access and free parking. Get up close to some of the animal wonders of the world across their specially designed habitats - from the savannah to the wetlands and the tropical forest.
South Devon Steam Railway
The SDR is a seven mile former Great Western Railway branch line, built in 1872, which runs along the stunning valley of the River Dart between Buckfastleigh and Totnes. Steam trains run with heritage rolling stock and offers a wonderful all day, all weather attraction.
